Gates Made to size

Driveway, Pool and Garden Gates in Sydney

Every opening is different, so every gate is made to suit it: sliding or swinging, in aluminium, steel, glass or stainless, and in a colour to match the fence.

Gates and fences made to work together

We make gates for pool fencing, balustrades, gardens and boundaries, including for awkward openings where a standard gate won't fit.

Driveway gates

The choice between sliding and swinging usually comes down to the space you have.

Plan of a sliding gate: the gate slides sideways along the fence line
Sliding Runs along the fence. Suits steep or short driveways where a gate can't swing.
Plan of a double swing gate: two leaves swing open in an arc
Swing Opens in an arc. Needs clear, fairly level ground for the leaves to travel over.
PedestrianDouble spear-top gates between brick walls

Pedestrian and side gates

For front paths, side passages and garden openings. A single gate suits most paths; a pair suits wider openings and bin access.

Pool gates

Made in the same style as the pool fence, in glass or aluminium. In NSW a pool gate must swing outward, away from the pool, close by itself from any open position, and latch automatically.

Automatic gates in Sydney

Driveway gates can be automated on request. Automation works best when it is planned with the gate, not added later.

  1. Sliding or swingBoth can be automated. The site, the slope and the space beside the opening decide which suits.
  2. Power at the gateAn automatic gate needs power nearby. If there isn't any, an electrician will need to run it.
  3. How you will open itThink about who uses the gate and how: from the car, on foot, or for visitors and deliveries.

Tell us you are interested in automation when you enquire, and we will talk through the options for your gate at the measure.

Gate materials and colours

Gates can be made in almost any colour, so they match the fence, the house or the front wall.

  • AluminiumLight, and doesn't rust
  • Pre-galvanised steelHeavier, powder-coated
  • GlassFor glass pool fences and balustrades
  • Stainless steelA brushed metal finish
